Ballet Barre is a hybrid workout class - combining ballet-inspired moves with elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and strength training.
Classes incorporate a ballet barre and use classic dance moves such as plies, focusing on high reps of small range movements.
Please note these are pretty intense so a good level of fitness is needed x
I have trained in classical ballet all my life (since the age of three) getting to a professional level, however I found the industry a bit unfriendly and competitive so I knew it was not the right place for me.
I began thinking how I want to make ballet accessible for everyone as I think it is one of the best, strengthening, toning and graceful disciplines there is, and there shouldn't be a stigma about picking it up, no matter who, how old, what shape or how much experience you have!
Ballet is such a beautiful practice and is open to all who want to give it a go!
